When you bend your head forward, it places the equivalent of approximately 60 pounds of weight on your neck. Over time, this weakens your neck muscles and can cause spinal misalignment.

Be mindful of your posture and avoid looking down at your phone for long periods. You can reduce the pressure on your neck by simply raising your phone to eye level. In addition, we spend too much time sitting, which poses its own problems. Taking regular breaks from your screen every 20 minutes or so is recommended. Tips To Stay Hydrated

  1. Eat fruits and vegetables, because they also contain water.
  2. Keep your intake to 30 to 50 ounces or 1 to 1.5 liters each day.
  3. Gradually drink water throughout the day.
  4. Limit diuretics like coffee, tea, alcohol and sodas because they cause you to rapidly lose water.
  5. Drink more water when you exercise or if you are in a hot climate.
