- Appointment Preparation: Please arrive 10 minutes early for your appointment to complete a brief registration and consent form. This ensures a smooth process for your initial consultation.
- Initial Consultation: Upon arrival, you'll meet our receptionist and fill out the New Patient Form, detailing your health history and well-being. Bringing a list of medications or supplements is helpful.
- Chiropractic Assessment: During your initial consultation, your specialist will conduct a comprehensive case history, posture assessment, and examination. They'll develop a treatment plan involving chiropractic and physiotherapy, with treatment beginning if deemed safe. Imaging (x-ray/MRI) may be necessary in some cases.
- Detailed Examination: You'll meet with the chiropractor for a thorough case history, postural check, and examination of problem areas. They'll also assess your musculoskeletal system comprehensively, as issues in one area can affect others.
- Diagnostic Procedures: If needed, the chiropractor may refer you for further imaging (x-ray/MRI scan) to aid diagnosis. They'll discuss whether chiropractic treatment is suitable and schedule a detailed Report of Findings appointment to explain your diagnosis and personalized treatment plan.
- Treatment Approach: Typically, we provide a full Report of Findings before starting treatment. However, if immediate relief is necessary, we offer relief care on the first visit, provided it's safe. Please let us know if immediate treatment is required when booking your appointment.
